Four months and counting...

The Tulsa Oilers will unveil their 15th anniversary squad to the home folks on Saturday October 28th. While the Central Hockey League continues developing the entire 2006-07 schedule, the league has been able to give the Oilers their first home date. The opponent and the rest of the schedule will be released at a later date.

The Oilers will be playing their 15th season since the rebirth of the CHL in the 1992-93 season. Tulsa has had seven straight .500 or better seasons, the longest stretch in Tulsa pro hockey history. This season the Oilers will compete in the Northeast Division of the 17-team CHL, along with Bossier-Shreveport, Memphis, and Youngstown. Six of the eight teams in the Northern Conference (Northeast and Northwest divisions) will qualify for the playoffs this season.

Oiler season tickets for the 2006-07 season are now on sale. The prices are the same as the 2005-06 season, ranging from $300 to $475. The Oilers have also instituted an automatic payment plan to make purchasing season tickets even easier and more convenient. Also new this year is a 10 game flex pack. For more information call the Oilers at (918) 632-7825.
