| CARROLL RE-SIGNS TOMORROW – Tomorrow, the Mudbugs will make a major announcement with the re-signing of goaltender Ken Carroll for the 2006-2007 season. The reigning CHL Goaltender of the Year will be entering his sixth season in Bossier-Shreveport and he will become the second player to be re-signed from last year’s team. Despite playing in just 31 games last season, the Oil City, Ontario native enjoyed his third straight all-star campaign and posted a 20-7-4 record with a 2.31 goals against average and a .921 save percentage. Carroll was selected as the Goaltender of the Year for the second time in his career and was also named to the 2006 All-CHL Team. “Kenny overcame some obstacles last season and again proved that he’s the best goaltender in the league,” said Head Coach Scott Muscutt. “He also showed us why he’s such a great competitor and getting him re-signed is always going to be a priority. It’s great to have him back and he’s once again going to be the foundation for our team.” Carroll is the Mudbugs’ all-time leader in games played by a goaltender (191) and wins (121). He has recorded at least 20 wins in all five of his seasons with the Mudbugs, including 27 in his rookie campaign of 2000-01 when he led the team to their third straight President’s Cup |

| I wish Loops would re-sign so we can take care of our unfinished business when he gets back to the CHL. Except he tells me it's very likely he won't be back in the CHL next season |
