Six Corpus Christi Rayz season ticket holders were named the First Period winners of the 2006 edition of the Rayz Rewards Season Ticket Holder Program on Monday afternoon. Open only to Rayz season ticket holders, the incentive program consists of a series of drawings for a bevy of unique Rayz and Corpus Christi related prizes. The deadline for the First Period was the close of business on Friday. On Monday morning, the Rayz conducted a drawing that made six season ticket holders the opening period winners.

The winners were selected in the above order and will now have the opportunity to pick a remaining prize of their choice from the complete first period list.
Each Rayz season ticket holder receives one entry into the free raffle for each season ticket purchased in their account. There will be two more periods of Rayz Rewards (in August and September) before a Grand Prize drawing will take place later in the off-season. Fans can secure their entry into the Rayz Rewards program with a $50 deposit on 2006-2007 Rayz season tickets.

Hit the links with your favorite members of the Corpus Christi Rayz. The winner will be treated to a complimentary round of golf (including cart) with Rayz players/coaches. See how your game stacks up with the pros.
- Rayz Autographed Memorabilia
Win your very own piece of Rayz history with an autographed piece of equipment from your favorite team. Fans win their choice of either a team autographed hockey stick or helmet.
- Get Hooked
Winner will receive four tickets to see the Corpus Christi Hooks at Whataburger Field. Catch a Memory as members of the Houston Astros AA affiliate play their way to the big leagues.
- The Puck Drops Here
You'll kick off the 2006-2007 season when they drop the puck for the ceremonial face-off on October 21st at the Rayz home opener. The winner will be introduced in front of a packed crowd, keep the ceremonial puck used in the face-off.
- Fly Away
Travel anywhere the Rayz play, or to the U.S. vacation spot of your choice with two complimentary airline tickets courtesy of Delta Airlines. Tickets are redeemable for anywhere Delta flies in the continental United States.
- Check Please
Dinner is not only on the Rayz, but with them! You and a guest will be treated to a dinner for four along with two of your favorite Rayz players or coaches. We'll supply the players and food. You supply the appetite.
The Corpus Christi Rayz are currently in preparation for the 2006-2007 season. The Rayz return to the American Bank Center is only 96 days away. Corpus Christi has scheduled their home opener on October 21st. Season ticket packages and corporate sponsorship opportunities are currently available.
