A familiar face, goaltender Bill Ruggiero has again signed with the Tulsa Oilers to play for the Oilers in the 2006-07 season.
Ruggiero played 47 games for the Oilers in the 2004-05 season. He posted a 27-15-2 record with a 3.16 goals against average and .914 save percentage. Fans also remember a notable center ice fight with Colorado Eagles goaltender Tyler Weiman during the 2005 Central Hockey League playoffs.
"Bill had a tremendous rookie sesaon for us and with more expeirence will be even better," coach Butch Kaebel said. "I'm very confident in our goaltending situation." |
