Hockey’s often referred to as the fastest team sport, and the addition of forward Bobby Davis has made the Tulsa Oilers faster for the 2006-07 season.
Davis, 5-foot-10, 177 pounds split last season between Rio Grande Valley and Fort Worth. He totaled 12 goals and 16 assists for 28 points. His rookie pro season was in the Central Hockey League with the Macon Whoopee in 2000-01 when he scored 25 goals and averaged a point a game.
“Bobby Davis is a dynamic skater that can flat out fly. His speed and playmaking ability create offense, while his intensity and work ethic create strong forechecking and havoc,” Oilers coach Butch Kaebel said. “Bobby gets it. He understands that the off season is used to improve your skills and conditioning. He will come here in great shape.” |
