Bucks Lead CHL In New Season Ticket Sales
08/21/06 - Central Hockey League (CHL) Laredo Bucks
Laredo Bucks
LAREDO, Texas - The 2006 President's Cup Champion Laredo Bucks are leading the Central Hockey League in new season ticket sales for the upcoming 2006-07 regular season. The Bucks 2nd Annual Open House this past Saturday at the Laredo Entertainment Center was a huge success with more than 2,000 people attending and with 105 new Bucks season tickets sold. Laredo leads the entire 17-team CHL, including the three expansion teams, in new season ticket sales for the upcoming campaign. The Bucks are offering a family four pack of season tickets for the 2006-07 CHL regular season, which works out to just over $7 a seat per game and is a 46 % savings off walkup prices. "To sell 105 new season tickets in one day was flat out awesome," said Bucks President John Beckelhymer. "We listened to what our fans have been saying and I think this family four pack, which offers our lowest priced season ticket at just over $7 a seat, really fits what they were telling us. With the Bucks entering their fifth season of play this October, to be leading everyone in the CHL in new season ticket sales is phenomenal. The 2005-06 season was a great one on and off the ice with the Bucks winning the President's Cup, and 2006-07 is going to be even better. The excitement and the buzz surrounding the Bucks Open House really showed that this is going to be our best season yet because of how much people want to be part of Bucks hockey."
The Bucks Open House featured something for everyone. Bucks players were on hand and signed autographs and Game Five of the President's Cup Finals was shown on the jumbotron.
Doctors Hospital conducted a health screening that featured body fat analysis, blood pressure checks, height, weight and health information.
Fans were able to check out open seat locations in the LEC and purchase 2006-07 Bucks season tickets by taking advantage of convenient payment plans.
For the second straight year the Laredo Animal Protective Society Animal Shelter was present and six dogs and cats found new homes.
"It was another great event with the Bucks," said Freddie Flores, Executive Director of the Laredo Animal Shelter. "We were able to get much needed exposure for the shelter and help some animals find new homes." |
